# Advanced Filtering API

We have added functionality to our
[Advanced Filtering API](/api/resources/advanced-filtering) to allow you to filter
[Lead](https://developer.close.com/api/resources/leads/list) objects using a set of arbitrary filters. The `query`
parameter on the `lead` endpoint is now deprecated in favor of using the
[Advanced Filtering API](/api/resources/advanced-filtering)
