The commenting feature is modeled as threads with comments, where each thread is associated with a specific object and has one or more comments. A comment may not exist without a thread, and a thread may not exist without any comments. Threads are maintained automatically and don't need special consideration when creating or removing individual comments. Comment bodies are formatted as [rich text](/api/overview/rich-text), and may include basic styling and user/group mentions. The `object_type` of the commented-on object is included in the thread, and should match up with the object types described in the [event log docs](/api/resources/events). > Comments may be left on a variety of object types in Close ## API Docs - Comments [Fetch multiple comments](https://developer.close.com/api/resources/comments/list.md) - Comments [Create a Comment](https://developer.close.com/api/resources/comments/create.md) - Comments [Fetch an individual comment](https://developer.close.com/api/resources/comments/get.md) - Comments [Update a Comment](https://developer.close.com/api/resources/comments/update.md) - Comments [Remove a comment](https://developer.close.com/api/resources/comments/delete.md) - Comments [Fetch multiple comment threads](https://developer.close.com/api/resources/comments/list-threads.md) - Comments [Fetch an individual comment thread](https://developer.close.com/api/resources/comments/get-thread.md) ## OpenAPI Specification The raw OpenAPI 3.1 specification for this API is available at: - [OpenAPI JSON](https://developer.close.com/api/resources/comments/openapi.json) - [OpenAPI YAML](https://developer.close.com/api/resources/comments/openapi.yaml)
