Playbooks are reusable templates that standardize how your team conducts calls and meetings. Each Playbook defines a structured workflow including a name, description, optional AI summary guidance, linked [Custom Fields](/resources/custom-fields/shared-custom-fields/), and linked [Outcomes](/resources/outcomes/). When a Playbook is assigned to a [Call](/resources/activities/call/) or [Meeting](/resources/activities/meeting/), the associated Custom Fields and Outcomes become available for that activity, helping your team capture consistent, structured data. Playbooks can be archived when no longer needed and restored later. Organizations can have up to **50 active** Playbooks and **100 total** (active + archived). Creating, updating, deleting, archiving, and unarchiving Playbooks requires the **Manage Customizations** permission. > Reusable templates that standardize how your team conducts calls and meetings. ## API Docs - Playbooks [List or filter playbooks](https://developer.close.com/api/resources/playbooks/list.md) - Playbooks [Create a playbook](https://developer.close.com/api/resources/playbooks/create.md) - Playbooks [Fetch a single playbook](https://developer.close.com/api/resources/playbooks/get.md) - Playbooks [Update a playbook](https://developer.close.com/api/resources/playbooks/update.md) - Playbooks [Delete a playbook](https://developer.close.com/api/resources/playbooks/delete.md) - Playbooks [Archive a playbook](https://developer.close.com/api/resources/playbooks/archive.md) - Playbooks [Unarchive a playbook](https://developer.close.com/api/resources/playbooks/unarchive.md) ## OpenAPI Specification The raw OpenAPI 3.1 specification for this API is available at: - [OpenAPI JSON](https://developer.close.com/api/resources/playbooks/openapi.json) - [OpenAPI YAML](https://developer.close.com/api/resources/playbooks/openapi.yaml)
